Collision Center FAQs

Q:

Should I pay for an accident repair myself, or allow my insurance company to handle it?

This is an important question, and the answer depends on your specific situation. We’d prefer to speak with you directly about your financial questions, so give us a call and we’ll discuss the best ways for you to approach repair costs. That being said, we do have good relationships with all insurance providers.

Q:

Where can I get an estimate for my vehicle’s damage?

Click on the “Request an Estimate” button above, and you’ll be taken to a form where you can submit photos of your model’s damage. Remember, though we are able to provide an estimate, the cost we quote now will not match your final invoice (which is calculated based on what we find when our technicians inspect your vehicle in person).

Q:

Can I change the vehicle's color?

Yes, we are able to change your vehicle’s color when we are fixing damage to the exterior paint. However, we recommend keeping it the same color it is now, since it’s time-consuming and expensive to repaint an entire vehicle (including all its nooks and crannies).

Q:

Which is better: overall or spot painting?

This depends on your vehicle’s age; older vehicles fare better with an overall paint job, as this will raise the vehicle’s value. Spot painting is better for a newer vehicle that still has a high value.

Q:

Why can't I view samples of your color options online?

It’s difficult to color-match a vehicle to samples on a computer screen. It’s best to view our color options in person so you can accurately find the one that matches your ride. Visit us to browse our thousands of options and speak with our technicians about the perfect match.
